| Stella McCartney Launches 2012 Collection In New York |

A blazing fire, extensive bouquets of flowers and jazz band playing in the corner alluded to a carnival atmosphere rather than a fashion show.
Models wondered around the candlelit venue playing pool and backgammon.
The show was certainly more relaxed and fun, which was a much welcomed change to the stress induced high intensity fashion run way performances. A change welcomed by all that attended the beautiful, compassionate launch.
On display were Vegan hors d'oeuvres and her beautiful autumn Vegan collection were on display in a picturesque room overlooking a winter garden.

| Among the collection was vignettes which were inspired in turn by the history of monograms, and an equestrian theme. Modern silhouettes and exquisite embodied lace cocktail dresses in plea lemon, black and white graced the floor. |

"This is the evening cocktail section which is a really beautiful embroidered lace, with a trompe l'oeil play as well," McCartney told The Telegraph . "For me it's really important to try and master cocktail and evening wear in a way that you actually want to wear it and you don't feel old. It's important for you to wear the clothes and for them not to wear you."
"For me it's just very luxurious and it's got grown-up touch to it but it's still very contemporary. The silhouettes are quite modern, they are not in your face but you still have enough to talk about. It's important as a woman if you are going to something you want to stand out - but you don't want to scream out."
The very beautiful and talented Ms. McCartney will be opening her new shop in New York and will grace the world with her beautiful Vegan designs this year. It is expected that Ms. McCartney will have a show a month to launch her new collections.
