| 'Extinct' Frog Found In Australia |
 |
An animal species that was once thought to have been extinct for over three decades has suddenly re-emerged.
A thriving community of the yellow spotted bell frog has been sighted in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales in Australia.
The New South Wales Environment Minister Mr. Frank Sartor noted the importance of protecting our animal friends and used this as an example of

the fragile nature of our beautiful Home. "...finding this frog is as significant a discovery as a Tasmanian Tiger." Mr. Sartor commented.
Mr. Sartor also went on to say; "This discovery is a reminder of the need to protect this environment so future generations can enjoy the noise and colour of our native animals."
The International Union for Conversation of Nature has noted that 1/3 of the world's 6,000 amphibian species are under threat of extinction.
With warming global temperatures, rising sea levels and the constant turbulent weather conditions - this figure could drastically raise in the coming years.

An expert from the University of Adelaide in South Australia, Australia noted that at least a dozen species of Australian frogs were critically endangered and probably more than that were not yet known about.
Mr. Mike Tyler noted that although there are many species facing extinction, he is also aware of three new species being discovered in the center of Australia.
These are very turbulent times our world is facing. Species are being wiped out almost instantly, with new species being found almost at the same speed. In a world that is out of balance, we must do all that we can to try and save our wonderful animal friends and stop the damaging we are inflicting on our Home.
