Our wonderful K-9 friends are known for their unconditional loving attributes; now - our beautiful animal companions are showing amazing abilites to protect our lives.
In Cornwall, England; Bilbo a 14-stone Newfoundland is an integral member of the surf life saving team. He puts his life at risk every time he enters the water - but don't think Bilbo cares about this; his only concern is to help his Human friends in need.

The amazing K-9 recently saved a young women's life from dangerous currents.
"It was like he was saying to me 'it's too dangerous - don't go in'," said Lein Snippe, who is currently on holiday in the county.
"Bilbo, without any direction from me, just took straight off down the hill," said his handler, Steve Jamieson.
"He placed himself between her and the sea and just wouldn't allow her any access into the sea at all.

"When she did creep into the sea he swam in front of her."
The Newfoundlands' webbed feet and water-resistant coats make them ideal lifeguards.
Bilbo has his own lifeguard vest with safety messages written across it to warn holidaymakers not to go beyond the designated swimming and surfing areas.
Bilbo has had to go through a rigorous training regime in order to get his fitness up to a level where he can help his human friends with out putting his life in danger. |

As we know, Bilbo is one of many amazing animals friends that put their lives in danger in order to help.
In Italy; thier is a team of deep sea rescue K-9 friends that constantly embark on dangerous missions to rescue those in need.
These amazing animals are one of only a handful of animals that can help in this scenerio due to cold waters and heavy currents.
These rescue dogs have a thick winter cooat that keep them warm no matter in what conditions.
