I was sitting out with the birds this morning pondering what this weeks Editors Note should be about. It seems that we have all had our heads down working so hard this past....well, 6 months really - that at times everything just slips us by without a thought in the world. All too easily we can get caught up and find it difficult to reflect.
Today, though, was a little different. Today, made me pause for a moment and reflect on how I have made it to this point in my life. No doubt, these past 5 years have been nothing short of an adventure. When you hear someone say that life is a roller coaster; all I can say is how true.
Actually in the past couple of years I think my most popular saying has been 'Well, at least we can't say that life is boring!'
As I was sitting on the porch with the birdies, pondering; I realized a truth that I had always thought, but never comprehended. And that is, although we are never alone existing on this physical planet - we are alone
It is only through ourselves that we can rely on to ensure we grow or put us back on the right path.Having beautiful, like minded people around you makes life easier
However, when you stop and think about this - you realize the truth of it.
If you are going through a down day, there are no words that someone can say to you to console you. There is no hug that will heal your heart, and there is no gift that will uplift your spirits.
Only, when we turn inwards and connect with our true spirit will we find any comfort. Because, it is in us that holds the greatest essence of Love, Happiness and Joy.
It is essential, that on those days, when you are not feeling the best - to think positively, act positively and write positively. By you taking that action, you are changing your spirit - you are turning everyone of your cells around and spreading Love and Peace inwards and outwards.
At this juncture of my deep pondering, I came across a beautiful piece of literature.
This happens to me a lot - when ever I have a question or a thought I go and seek guidance to either confirm what I am going through, or to point me in the right direction.

Like a lot of things, I need to see things a couple of times before it is enforced. But as soon as I read this, I knew straight away - I knew the Truth.
Sometimes relying on yourself can seem hard, or scary - but by you taking that courgeous step you are allowing your spirits to be uplifted and grow.
So take responsibilities and watch your beautiful flower blossom.
Be positive and spread Love, Peace and Happiness all around you all the time. Because through this, we can uplift the world.
