Are there too many 'ie's' in that little spiel - ha ha. But it has to be fun and glorious. I hope we achieved that.
Following in the message of Hope in the Editors Note section; we were amazed to see the beautiful veg trend message being echoed in the world's largest media sources.
It is beautiful to see. We will say something very quickly to get out in the open, but after that I promise it will be nothing but super happy good times for here on in.
Although it is amazing to see these wonderful messages of turning to the veg diet to help save the world. This message has been echoed for well over a decade. This message is taking way too long to filter through mass media to the public.
Our world is in danger - Our Home is on the brink; we can all see it. To the massive dust bowl that tore through Australia's East Coast along with periods of extreme fire hazards ripping through the country - to well over a million people perishing at the hands of the world responding to what we are doing to her. Hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis are all responses to Humans leading a heavy karmic diet - killing defenceless animals in order to eat. The message must now be echoed quickly - our world has to turn to the veg diet. We must turn our back on the negative and turn to the positive in order for our Home to be Saved. Otherwise - we fear it may be too late.
Hey - that was ment to be quick...ha ha - tricked ya.
In the latest article on CCTV (China's major news source) gracious Wang Mangmang detailed why eating a low carbon diet can save our Home.
"Giving up meat in China has only become a trendy way of life in the past decade. But it's now catching on for a bigger reason."
Lu Shi, a vegetarian, said, "The ancient Chinese believed when heaven is about to place a great responsibility on a great man, it always first frustrates his spirit and will, and exposes him to starvation. This is exactly how I felt when I started. But now I'm good. My vegetarian friends are happy to know what they eat can affect the climate. There are not many, but we stick to it and try to tell others that this is for a good cause."
Surprisingly the New York Times came out with an amazing article last week called 'Stop Eating Meat and Save The Planet' - The CREW saw this and were 'gob-smacked' we could not believe it. Such a powerful message in such a powerful medium.
This article comes on the back of the Climate Change conference in Copenhagen where world leaders met to hold talks about stopping climate change. As stated in the article - people would line up for hours in the freezing cold dressed in animal outfits handing out climate change flyers advocating the vegan diet to save our Home.
"(they) were representatives of Ching Hai, the leader of a group that advocates adherence to Buddhist precepts, including following vegan or vegetarian diets."
The article went on to say - "Followers of Ching Hai say that one of her principal goals is to fight environmental disasters, and her representatives in Copenhagen appeared eager to spread the message that methane, which is belched in large quantities by cows and other livestock raised for the meat and dairy industries, is among the most potent planet-warming gases."
