It was one of those weeks that came and went all to quickly.
I guess that is what happens when you put your head down and get all those little piece of work down.
Though, during that time where you are totally consumed and immersed in your activities you all too easily forget about life and all that is happening around us. If you spend your whole life in this routine, then perhaps you
will wake up in 50 years time and ask yourself what just happened?
After spending the time in tending to Earthly duties bestowed upon me; I had the chance to take the time and get away. Though; this only lasted a good day - it was totally amazing.
Believe me, at the time it did not feel totally amazing. It is only upon reflection that I know how much I needed it.
Actually, it hindsight it wasn't even me that made the choice to stop. I was trying my best to keep on tending to my duties. But as it happens, and as I am constantly finding out - it has to happen pretty hard for me to listen.
It is fantastic to think that we have any control in this world. What an illusion - we will get moved to where we are meant to be; and plainly there is not much we will be able to do about it.
But it is very comforting to know that we are only placed in situations that we know we can handle.
Once again, I digress.
During the period that I was forced to slow down and take the time to turn inwards; a lot of truths were revealed to me.
A lot of those questions that you are plagued with; a lot of those little things that have been on your mind were all answered.
It was a lovely feeling to have what seemed like the weight of the world lifted from your shoulders.
I encourage all to take that time to stop and reflect. Listen to your inner voice and have the conviction to follow your intuition.
By you taking these steps - it is assured you will always be on the right path.
