How much is your soul worth? What price do you place on your values and your morals?
It is a very confronting way to start off such an article. However, it seems that in today's world it has became too easy to place importance on all the wrong things; and the amazing aspect is - this world can enable your thoughts and actions way too easily.
As I am sure you are aware by now, I do enjoy a good movie from time to time and find a way to relate these articles to something that I have just watched.
It was a movie about a man that is living the 'Dream' he has the big job, the big apartment and is a huge 'success'
. I guess you could say that according to this world - he has it all.
During his day to day activities he is approached by his gaurdian angel and is shown a glimpse of what his life could be like.
This is not an article about that - rather there was a moment in the movie that caught my attention. The gaurdian angel manifested on this world as a shop attendant. Whilst he was giving change to a young girl he knowingly gave her more to see if she would say anything.
She did not. He made a comment 'What price do you place on a soul - clearly her's is only worth $9.'
You see, it matters not how much money is thrown your way in order for you to forget your true path. Be it $9 or $1 MIllion - there is no excuse for taking the money and for-going realising your true nature. Though, as this world is - people around you will tell you that there is a difference, and will use their words beautifully to tell you that it is ok to take that money.
I was speaking to a friend recently, and he told me that he is selling his smaller place for a bigger place. I couldn't reply - because I knew that this world is taking a hold of his life and bringing him down deeper.
The reason why I couldn't reply was because I felt sorrow and pain for him. I know how this world works - and I know what is install for him. It bought so much sadness to my soul.
We forget in this world - all too easily about the end and concentrate on the means. We get too consumed with the material THINGS of this world - the money, the house, the car the THINGS that make us forget about the real reason why we are on this place.
The means for our existance on our Home is to remember our true devine nature. Remember where we came from and be a living example of all that is beautiful.
If you are not sure who that is - just look to those souls that have graced us previously, those who do great deeds for the benefit of the world. Each moment of each day when you are placed in a situation just take a moment to think how that person would act and perform that action.
Do not be afraid, because by you taking that action you are allowing the greater Love to work through you. When this occurs, your action is perfect and you will be protected.
