Together We Stand
Vegan Era  It never stops to amaze me how wonderful this world is. I know, you have probably caught me on numerous occasions getting up on my box and ranting and raving, but under all that - my breath does get caught from time to time.
You know that feeling you get when something happens to you and it's almost like you miss a
breath...Well, I sort of had that recently. Life has revealed a few things to me recently. Very unexpectedly too I might add; but really, what is new - I should be used to life throwing me a few curve balls.
I think my favorite saying at the moment is 'Well, at least life isn't boring.' If you know me, I very much used to like boring.

Hey, I digress - seems to happen to me a lot when I do these articles.

I was in an environment on the weekend with lots of people, and doing lots of talking. Something I used to do a lot back in my past life, and really do not enjoy doing any more. But it made me realise in this very hectic situation how important it is for like-minded people to stick together.

Way too easily can the outside influence us, and our decisions and without us even knowing force us into situations that we regret later. All because we were mixing with people we probably should think twice about mixing with.

Then, as life would have it; I was watching a movie and the basic premise of the movie was for us to stick with people that accept us. For those that do not understand spend their time be-little-ing us and putting us down.
I do not want to suggest why, it is irrespective really. Though the point is still the same, because when we are around those people they make us feel bad about ourselves, they make us question who we really are - and that then brings us down. This in turn makes our world a pretty yukki place to be.

And you probably would have though that was enough, that life need not throw anything else at me to reinforce the message....BUT, alas, it did...ha ha - how great.

I was reading a book on spiritual stories; and I came across this one passage that discusses the importance of the people we are with. You know it yourself, if you are with people that always steal and cheat and lie - then in turn they will be able to convince you that this is the right thing to do. Due to the fact this is all you see - then you too will think this is right. Over time, it is really like this.
When you have a goal in life, when you want to achieve something on your path - ensure you are the right people. It is too hard to mix with those that don't understand, stay true to yourself.

The CREW certainly realised the importance of being with like minded people when trying to spread our message of Love and Peace.

Be Love - Be Peace - BE VEGAN; Save our Home.
