This life certainly is amazing; you can feel and think that all
your lessons in life are over - and then in one foul swoop your life can be changed in a blink of an eye.
It is truly incredible how the universe works; placing you in situations that perhaps you think you never would be able to handle - or in environments that you thought you would never be able to push past.
If you take the time to stop and realize, you really do feel a source pushing and prodding you around in life to help you understand your true nature.
Though, as with everything in this world - you always have a choice in what path you want to take.
As you are no doubt aware (f you are a loving follower of these notes) that I do enjoy a good movie from time to time. And over the years, there have been a few that have stood out where one overriding truth prevails. And this is; CHOICE.
You see, everyday in our lives we are placed in situations that will perhaps test our soul. Be that in work, family, or relationships. Unless you lock yourself in a cave for the remainder of your years - you are going to be put through the ringer (as I like to call it).
And it is at these moments; these choices that we get to make in our lives help determine the being we will become.
Admittedly, we can all live in this world with our blinkers on. Focused on the next pay check in which we can plan our next trip or weekend out with our friends. Never allowing the outside world to infiltrate us. It is a magical way to be able to live your life - but as I have experienced perhaps a little naive to think that life will never throw you a curve ball from time to time.
And it is at those moments - when you stop and think about the choices that lie in front of youwhich help to mould your soul and guide you back to your true nature. Your true Loving being that always wants to Love, to Give, to Care and to lay your life down for another.
Because it is in that moment that you think this - you are connected once more to the Divine; with Heaven.
Some years back I remember embarking on a spiritual path. At the time I was struggling greatly - but I knew whole heartedly that this is where my real, true path lay.
I was having a
long chat with my brother about the problems that I was having - and he said something to me that always comes back to me.
He said "In life, we always have two roads to take. The high road and the low road. Depending on the type of soul you want - will depend on the road that you will embark."
Many of us will never think about this type of situation in our day to day lives. Some of us, including myself will analyze the roads and make the choice as to which road will ultimately lead to a more Noble and Loving outcome.
I have been very fortunate - because now I feel that it is not even me that makes this choice any more. I am simply guided along the road that is best for me.
If at anytime you are faced with this fork in your life (and I can guarantee that you will be); please give yourself the time to think what the more noble path is and act upon it.
You will know when you have made the right choice, because you feel good - you will feel right. At the moment that you do feel like you could have done better with your choice - that is the moment that you did not act in accord with your True self.
But this is ok - because this world is made for us to learn. So, the next time you feel that you could have made the right decision, remember for next time - and you will.
In the mean time - go out and smell the flowers; we have been blessed with so much beauty in this world...ENJOY!
