Perhaps; we Humans hold the greatest gift in the universe. We truely are blessed to be born as a Human - though the actions we take might be subjective to the greateness we can achieve.
We are constantly tested on this magical journey we call life. We all have the ability to go with God and turn our back on the negative.
In today's world, we are probably tested more than in any other period of time. Why? Because there is so much divergence; The wealth of the world lies with 2% of the population. Nigera, the largest exporter of oil is also one of the poorest country in the world; with well over half of the population living below the poverty line.
Before I embark on this magical editoral, please note that our Home is not in balance and in peace. Where there is over 1 Billion starving; 1 Billion people without safe drinking water and over 1 Million climate refugees - our Home is far from being a Heaven.
If you are lucky (from a certain point of view) to be born in the western world - you wouldn't have a clue how these people live. You think that your own little world is so blissful, and perhaps even you have created your own little Heaven for yourself. You go by in your busy daily life thinking that you are a God and that everything is amazing.
You truely are lucky if that is the case, but perhaps you need to step outside your comfort area and put yourself in someone else shoes. Perhaps you would feel the suffering in this world.
Ok, sorry, I am done - I just wanted to open your eyes to a reality. I hope I have not offended you and you are still reading.
If you are Christian (or even if you are not) I am sure you are aware of this period of time. Easter. Please take a time and ask yourself what this time means to you.
In case you don't know, this period of time is to give thanks for all that we have. The beautiful Master of the past Jesus, graced our beautiful Home to share his compassion and love with all Humans.
During this period, Jesus spent 40 days and 40 nights in the desert to reflect on Heaven, and his Father God. During this time he fasted, careful not to take too much from this world.
Back to the present day, our world is getting FAT. Fifty years ago 1 in 10 people suffered from cancer. Today mroe than 7 out of 10 people have this disease.
The youth of today is contracting type 2 Diabities, a very serious condition that is normally associated with the more expereinced people in our community.
Today, the US, UK and Australia are classified as being obese. That is; the majority of the population is fat.
Take a moment when you walk down the street - how many peope do you see are healthy? 1 out of 10..... maybe.
Not only is the Human destroying the world - we are sussecfully destroying ourselves with over eating and over indulging.
Easter is almost over - but please take the time over the weekend and reflect on those that are less fortunate than you.
Those that do not have enough water, food or shelter - the smallest things that we take for granted today.
