My life has been full of twists and turns, as I am sure yours has been too. Ups - downs, ins and outs, around and around. I heard someone remark that life is like a roller coaster - it's pretty true. Very rarely a dull moment. I guess that is one thing. During my life; I am sure shorter than some out there. Life has thrown
me many lessons to which has bought me to this point. I see my life has two parts, and I refer to my previous life as my past life one which finished a year ago.
I always new something was up with this world - but I could never understand what it was, I could never put my finger on it - just, something was not right. In my past life I enjoyed my youth like many. I will share one instance with you.
I was living close to the night life scene. And from time to time I would walk home after enjoying my youth. On my way home I would come across people who would enjoy the night to earn their money. I would sit down with them and ask them why they made this choice in their life to do this. And they would simply respond "Listen are you going to buy something or not - cause you are costing me money"
I would smile, wish them a good night and be on way.
I found instances like this constantly in my past life - just existing never knowing what I was doing, constantly feeling under-whelmed with how little I was doing on this Earth.
Though with that feeling, there was a spark which kept me going, wondering what I could do.
It was not until very recently, in fact as recently as a week ago that I understood something. The only role that a Human has on this Earth is to Serve and Protect. We are so lucky to be here, to co-exist with each other on this planet. We are so amazing, our souls are so bright, or spirit so elevated that we have the ability to bring so much beauty to this world. But, we must change our thinking in order for change to occur.
In my past life I never knew what it was, I never knew what I could do to bring about this beauty. Now, things seem clearer - the only role that we can play in this act called life - is to Serve and Protect.
Serve Humanity and Protect our World.
Money, 'things', ambition, goals are all illusions created by our minds - powered by our ego. In order for our world to shine with beauty; we must drop all these worldly ambitions and simply Serve each other and Protect the World.
When your brother or sister is in need - help. Anyone that is in need, just help them; no matter what. If it means you have to pick them up from the side of the street; do it. If it means you have to give them money - then do it. Our life is short here, this body is frail - the only sure thing in our life is our True Self - our Heavenly Self. Act like that - Act like the Saint you are.
Our Home - Earth is all we have. It is our house, and currently we are destroying it. We are taking everything away from her, and it is not happy. Our Home is telling us to stop and to help her. We must protect our Home, we must stop all this killing; of ourselves, of the animals of the trees. STOP and LOVE.
