| The Love Of Worldwide Vegan Foods |
 |
Hello Blogger Readers out there...I just spent a week in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia with relatives and friends cooking up a vegan storm everywhere I stayed..and everyone loves vegan food! I left a trail of recipies.
At one home where I stay in Toowoomba the father has decided to go vegetarian! I am going to share with you today one of his great tofu recipies that are his children's favourite. |
|
In Toowoomba I teamed up with an Indian colleage of mine "Roushini" for a whole day of mulitcultural music, dancing and storytelling for the teachers of the region.
For lunch we cooked up a vegan storm, and everyone said that the favourite part of the day was the lunch! We had chickpeas and potatoes in a curry and the 20 ladies at our workshop made their own chapatis from flour and water! Yes just flour and water...with no preservatives and numbers like you will find in the breads in the supermarkets!
As for the new tofu recipe, just cut up some fresh tofu in cubes, roll it in cornflour and shallow fry it in some peanut oil,and serve on a salad or in a stirfry...you can dribble a touch of sesame seed oil for taste if you like...it is absolutely delicious!!
So "Google" some new vegan recipies...and have a great meal that doesn't involve killing animals!
Signing out for now...Renata
