7 time grand slam winner Venus Williams and 11 time grand slam winner Serena Williams have both adopted the beautiful Vegan diet. Not only that, but the sisters have also embarked on the amazing Raw Vegan diet.

Last year, Venus Williams was a late withdrawal from the US Open tennis tournament. A tournament that she has won 2 times.

According to The Daily Mail, the amazing Ms. Venus Williams was diagnosed with a very rare immune disease.

Initially, the news rocked Venus Williams who has always been a picture of beauty and health. After some painful months and coming to terms with the news, the sisters have decided to beat the disease together.

She says, though, that the diagnosis was a relief after years of going to doctors without results. “I would go to the doctor and start crying. I couldn't help it. I just want a chance to play on the same field as other people, I want to feel normal, but as frightening as the diagnosis was, it was also a relief.”

Serena was the one that suggested to her elder sister to investigate alternative methods of cure and to delve deeper into holistic treatments.

After further research, the two discovered just how beneficial it is for our bodies to go Vegan, and the amazing results patients have seen from switching to a Raw Vegan diet.

All the Vegan Era CREW wish you both the best of luck on your journey to health, and our prays are with you and your family.
